ARTIC Call for Operational Committee Members

ARTIC Operational Committee is currently seeking additional members from a wide range of health care sectors and geographical regions across Ontario.


The Adopting Research to Improve Care (ARTIC) Program is a proven model that accelerates the spread and implementation evidence-based health care interventions into broader clinical practice across Ontario’s health system.

About ARTIC Operational Committee

ARTIC Operational Committee (OC) plays a key role in advancing the vision and mandate of the ARTIC Program by providing advice and stewardship on the selection and implementation of proven interventions. The goal of the Committee is to coordinate a provincial approach to the spread, so that excellent quality care is provided to everyone, no matter what their condition, when they are treated, or where they live in Ontario.

What to expect

The Committee will meet a minimum of four times per year in Toronto in person or through teleconference or webinar, with each meeting lasting one to three hours. The prospective members are expected to commit to attend at least 80% of meetings within the year. In addition, to prepare for meetings, prospective members are expected to review a number of documents and participate in occasional phone calls. Successful candidates will participate in an onboarding program and commit to the Committee for the duration of year 2018. Membership is renewed on an annual basis. The first meeting will be held in May 2018.
